01Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — email address, username, and authentication data when you register or sign in.
• Transaction information — orders, payments, refunds, store-credit activity, and (for sellers) earnings, payout requests, and the payout details you provide.
• Messages — conversations in order chat and messages you send to support.
• Usage information — pages visited, listings viewed, online/activity status, and similar interactions with the Service.
• Device and log data — IP address, browser type and version, and timestamps, collected automatically for security and operations.

02How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• operate the marketplace — process orders, payments, refunds, store credit, and seller payouts;
• deliver notifications you'd expect — order confirmations, delivery and refund updates, in-app alerts, and account emails;
• keep the Service safe — detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and payment disputes;
• provide customer support and resolve problems between buyers and sellers;
• comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations;
• improve the Service.

03Payments

Card payments are processed by third-party payment processors (for example, Stripe). Your full card details go directly to the processor — we never receive or store them. We receive transaction status and limited payment metadata needed to run your order, issue refunds, and meet our legal obligations. The processor's own privacy policy governs its handling of your payment data.

04Order Chat & Moderation

Order conversations between buyers and sellers are stored so both sides have a reliable record. Authorized LiquidBoosts staff may access order conversations for support, moderation, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. Do not share sensitive personal or payment information in chat.

The Service also shows a basic online/offline indicator derived from recent activity so buyers and sellers can see whether the other party is around.

05Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies that are essential for the Service to work — most importantly to keep you signed in securely. We also use privacy-aware analytics to understand aggregate site usage. You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies, but without essential cookies parts of the Service (like signing in) will not function.

06How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us run the platform — payment processing, email delivery, realtime messaging, hosting and content delivery, database infrastructure, error monitoring, analytics, and customer support chat — each only receiving what it needs to perform its function;
• the other party to your transaction, to the limited extent needed to complete it (for example, your username and order chat messages);
• authorities, where disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of LiquidBoosts and its users;
• a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

07Data Retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Transaction, ledger, and payout records are retained after account closure where we are required to keep them for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

08Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, hashed credentials, scoped staff access, and secret management. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we work to protect your information and will notify you of breaches as required by law.

09Your Choices & Rights

You can access and update your basic account details from your account settings. You may request a copy of your personal information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting support; we may need to verify your identity first. Deletion requests are honored except where retention is required (see Data Retention) — for example, completed transaction records.

10Children's Privacy

The Service is not addressed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page; material changes will be flagged with reasonable advance notice.
